CEIS
The Center for Engineering Innovation and Sponsorship (CEIS) at British International University (BIU) is a comprehensive resource center for students and engineers across all departments within the Faculty of Engineering. The center provides a platform where students can propose projects, and if they meet the center’s standards, they can gain sponsorship and support for development. CEIS is dedicated to fostering cross-disciplinary innovation in engineering, guiding students from concept to tangible solutions that address real-world challenges.
Supervision
CEIS is overseen by an expert team comprising faculty members, industry professionals, and researchers from various engineering fields, including civil, mechanical, electrical, and biomedical engineering. Each project is carefully reviewed to ensure technical viability, innovation potential, and alignment with ethical and regulatory standards. Accepted projects receive tailored mentorship, regular evaluation, and guidance through each phase, including research, design, testing, and commercialization.
